We are looking for a motivated and experienced AWS Cloud Engineer to join our team. You will be a key contributor to our infrastructure with a focus on researching, recommending, and implement best practices across our AWS organization.
Your Responsibilities Will Include
- Managing AWS accounts across several business units
- Evolving existing infrastructure to new best practices for security and efficiency
- Auditing total spend to identify cost saving opportunities
- Support several engineering teams in their use of AWS resources
- Implement security policy requirements across the AWS organization
- Assist in security audits and remediation
- Administer and maintain AWS resources supporting the organization
- Establish and monitor alerts to ensure production deployments sustain their uptime and performance service levels.
- System administration of deployed infrastructure including linux servers
- Develop and evolve our container based deployments
- Troubleshoot and debug complex problems in AWS cloud-based systems
- Develop and maintain tools and automation for operational processes
What You'll Need
- 4-5+ Years of relevant AWS experience required.
- AWS certifications required but can be acquired during first year.
Experience with the following is ideal:
- CloudWatch
- EventBridge
- IAM Identity Center
- ECS
- RDS
- Route 53
- S3
- CloudFront
- API Gateway
- SQS
- SNS
Intermediate/Expert skill level Required in:
- Docker or Amazon ECS
- AWS CloudFormation/ Terraform
- AWS Control Tower/ Organizations/ Multi Account Architecture
Basic Knowledge and 1+ Year Experience in:
- Linux, preferably Amazon Linux 2 or 2023
- BASH, Ansible and/or Ruby on Rails
- Amazon Command Line (CLI)
- AWS RDS or PostgreSQL Database Management
Preferred but not Required Certifications:
- AWS Developer - Associate
- AWS Developer - Professional
Preferred but not Required Skills:
- IPv4/ IPv6
- Banyan or a modern ZTNA solution
- AWS Transit Gateway
