Our recent team-building event at Montani was truly unforgettable, packed with laughter, camaraderie, and breathtaking views. We spent the day at the stunning Be Resort in Mactan, Cebu, playing games, bonding, and indulging in delicious food. The resort’s beautiful scenery provided the perfect setting for us to relax and connect.
As the sun set, where its golden glow cast over the calm waters, we decided to take a leisurely stroll around the neighborhood. During our peaceful evening walk, we stumbled upon a quaint little coffee shop called Civet Coffee. Civet Coffee had a cozy ambiance, warm atmosphere and was very welcoming. We ordered our choice of drinks and settled into comfortable chairs, ready for a night of heartfelt conversations. The smell of freshly brewed coffee filled the air as we began to share stories about life, work, and everything in between. It was in this intimate setting that a simple question from a colleague sparked a profound moment of reflection for me.
My colleague asked, “How do you keep yourself awake during night shift hours at work?” given that I had always worked morning shifts in my previous jobs. Although his question seemed simple, it sparked a deeper reflection in my mind: “How do I keep myself motivated?”
As I thought about it, I realized my motivation comes from several key sources. First, the unwavering support of my family is crucial. Their belief in me and constant encouragement provide a solid foundation that keeps me going.

The company’s commitment to celebrating milestones, like giving gifts for my son’s graduation or highlighting employees’ birthdays, creates a strong sense of belonging and appreciation. This positive environment fosters motivation and dedication among all of us.
